This is my first Photo Recipe in a long time. I just haven't made any studio shots in a long time. I hope you enjoy this one, and please leave a comment if you have.

Canon ST-E2 wireless triggered 430EX2 and 580EX2. Both on stands, bounced off ceiling. One camera right, behind subject. The other camera left between subject and camera, with a bounce card to also light the pistol and hand and side of face. A:B ratio was set to reduce the flash output camera right. Flash compensation added to increase flash exposure.

Composing: Have model hold compact mirror, placed so the camera can "see" the reflection of the gun. Hold pistol in camera frame, focus on the end of the pistol in the reflection manually, while composing for proper placement in mirror, and composing the whole image. There are basically 3 compositions inside the whole composition of the image.
