Closure - one of the Gestalt Principles.
Closure happens when an image is incomplete. When a partial image is seen people perceive the whole by filling in the missing information on their own.
Image created using a Canon 100mm Macro lens mounted on an Olympus OM-D E-M5 body using an adapter. A polarizing filter and LCD screen was used for the light source and to create the colorful look of this textured clear plastic fork handle.
