Closure - one of the Gestalt Principles. Closure happens when an image is incomplete. When a partial image is seen people perceive the whole by filling in the missing information on their own.

Beseler TOPCON view 2
Beseler TOPCON AUTO 100 with Topcor lens.
View On White
This is another shot I took with a long exposure [10 sec] and used a single flash triggered manualy several times in different locations. There was still some shadow left on the background, but I edited out those areas that were just under white.

This seems like it was a very nice camera at the time. Not great, but good. The quality seems very nice, and the glass appears to be nice. One VERY BIG DESIGN MISTAKE is that the lens release is VERY easy to accidently press - dropping the lens right out of the body. Nice...
I have a bunch of cleaning to do to it, and a battery to find. I'd like to run a few rolls of film through it someday. I also have a telephoto lens for it, that needs to be completely disassembled and cleaned, as there is mold inside. Yuck.

Which is it?
Is it camera or video equipment that is prohibited? Either way, I got me a picture...
Shot with Canon 40D and 100mm macro lens at f/11 & ISO 800
It was an idea I had, but I am not sure I am all that happy with the outcome.

Forking birefringence
Another birefringence image, again with clear plastic forks, and again with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 and a Canon EOS adapter, shooting thorugh a Canon 100mm macro lens. Polarizer on the lens, and a large LCD TV for backlight.
